Best Beauty for Teens ~ Skincare, Makeup, Brushes & More!

 

Looking for the best beauty products, makeup, and skincare for teens? Look no further. This question comes up a lot on Instagram, and especially now that we're looking towards Christmas gifting time. These affordable beauty brands, favoured by Youtubers and Influencers alike will easily please the most discerning teens and passionate young makeup addicts too. 

Your very first step when setting a teen up with their own beauty stash is great skincare. It's hugely important, regardless of age, but starting them off on the right foot will reap dividends for them. The My Clarins range is made specifically for younger skin. It's a simple, vegan-friendly range for healthy, hydrated skin. When you're talking beauty for Teens, you're talking Youtube favourites for sure. Think James Charles, Jaclyn Hill et al, and you're talking Morphe. Morphe are a cracking brand for affordable products that you can trust to work. Known for their Influencer collaborations and huge palettes of pigmented shadows, I'm a big fan of this brand too. James Charles' palette is €43 and swatches beautifully, I recommended it to my niece Aoife (13) and she picked it up in the States. She adores it. 

Their makeup brushes are always my go to pick up when Stateside, with particular recommendation for the Morphe x Jaclyn Hill Eye Master Collection for €49. You'll get Morphe online HERE or, if you'd prefer to buy from an Irish store from Arnott's HERE. 

e.l.f Cosmetics (Eyes, Lips, Face) are high quality, cruelty free beauty, brushes and skincare at ridiculously affordable prices. Their primers in particular are exceptionally good, especially for sheckles. You'll pick up e.l.f in most large pharmacies, including Boots, but I'll link Feel Unique HERE because they regularly have percentage off sales, there's 15% off right now, ideal if you're stocking up for your favourite teen. 

NYX cosmetics are ideal for beauty enthusiasts, young & older, but their price point makes them ideal for budding teen makeup lovers especially. I can remember having my Aunt send my stash from New York before we got the bright, fun brand this side of the Atlantic. 

Their Colour Correctors are particularly good, comparable even to those several times their price. Their HD Concealer too, it's one of the best on the market brand wide. No teen makeup collection is complete with decent makeup brushes, that will wash well and perform well, no matter what. For that very reason I can't recommend Nima Brush highly enough (for all ages) Irish built and owned, this brush company goes from strength to strength because their brushes just work. I have eye brushes from 2012 that still look brand new.
