Hands up, my heart sank a little when I opened a package last week from Garnier and saw 'BB' staring back at me. You see BBs and me, we don't get on. Last year I put the original Garnier offering to the test and it wasn't pretty, although I loved the fragrance, it didn't love me and my poor visage broke out like a mo' fo' within 2 straight days of trialling it. It almost broke my heart to read reviews lauding it as the 'new best thing evah!', knowing it wasn't for me. That was until last week.
It's lucky I don't only rely on first impressions and take the time to actually read press releases, as this BB is nathin' like it predecessor and that's a very good thing (for me)(& no doubt many, many other ladies). Designed for oily to combination skin (although mine is normal) this Miracle Skin Perfector sports factor 20 SPF and boasts several skin benefits.

The one drawback with this product? It's only available in two colours so far, which will leave a lot of ladies disappointed though when I read right to the last line of the press release... 'Look out for further additions to the BB 'wardrobe' later this year'. Excellenté!

Glad they've taken the fragrance out, the original one was like a bottle of perfume! There seems to be a better range of colours in the Maybelline one. Don't know if it's fragrance free though. Had a look in my local pharmacy but they had the security tags pasted over the ingredients list :(

would love to have flawless skin so i could get away with wearing just a BB, unfortunately i have quite large pores and very oily skin, nothing stops my skin from shining, makeup just seems to disintingrate on me, but wud be good for around the house if i don't have to go anywhere, might give it a whirl

Great review. Have you tried asian bb creams? those work a lot better. I have oily/combo skin too. I use the Skin 79 Hot Pink Super Plus Beblesh Balm, its made for oily skin and works great.
I NEVER break out from anything, ever! except for when I use this :/ Even though it doesn't have a very perfumed smell like the original, it does have a strange chemical-like scent, I think it also has alcohol in it, When I used this for the first time it was fine, the second time I started to break out, and now whenever I use this I get spots :( But the annoying thing is - I love this bb cream! It looks so nice on the skin, and doesn't make me look dry or anything, it's so upsetting :'(
I've tried out the testers for the light one and it seems great. The only problem is every time I go to buy it there only color is medium! EUGH! The original just made my face look like I'd poured oil on it, it was awful!!
