Zara Statement Necklace: Return of the Pearl

If I gave u diamonds and pearls, Would u be a happy boy or a girl, If I could I would give u the world, But all I can do is just offer you my love. OK, so maybe because the fact that my first concert, bought with my Confo money, was the slithery sexpot Prince's Diamonds and Pearls in the RDS gave me a soft spot for the precious stone combo but this statement necklace from Zara literally stopped me in my tracks. 

I'm a big fan of statement neck wear (they always fit) but Zara have been seriously knocking it out of the park of late. So much so that unless you grab new stock as it comes in then you're left a wanting. When I saw the shop assistant unpacking a box of these lovelies on the day of the #RaboTweeties, I knew one would be the perfect fit for that night.

I was a little concerned that the mixture of pearls and chains might give a choker effect, never flattering, but thrilled once I'd tried this bad boy on. 

I needn't have been worried at all, I paired it with a simple v neck black silk knit geansaí and wet look black legs and my outfit was complete. Several compliments later, I'm pretty sure it was a star buy.

Cherry Pick of the Week: Rihanna - Diamonds

Absolutely loving Rihanna's newest tune, Diamonds. It's a departure from her recent dance tracks, stripped back and slowed down but I can't get it off loop in my noggin nor stop crowing it in the car.
