Cherry Pick of the Week: John Newman ~ Come and Get It

John Newman of Love Me Again fame is back with a belter!

I'll forgive him for making me feel old by being so damn talented for someone that was born in 1990!! Doesn't that make him like 10?!

Come and Get It has been on constant repeat in my ear holes this week. CHOON.

Tell me, what's on repeat in your world this week?

Cherry Pick of the Week: Little Mix ~ Black Magic!

And the top prize for catchiest pop song of the summer so far goes to..... LIDL MIX!!!

Can't get enough of Black Magic for upping my pace walking this week. Hon the girls!!

Are you loving it too?

Tell me, what's been playing on repeat in your world this week?

Cherry Pick of the Week ~ Thinking Out Loud / I'm Not The Only One MASH UP (Sam Tsui & Casey Breves)

I'm not usually one for Youtube covers but this is something a little bit special.

Youtubers, Sam Tsui & Casey Breves have combined two of the most popular songs on the airwaves and somehow managed to make both even better.

Amazing work, lads.

Cherry Pick of the Week: Sia ~ Elastic Heart

You might have seen this vid causing ripples on social media for the past week or so with cries of simulated pedophilia and to that I say 'What.The.Jaysus?'.

Sia has come out to say that the interpretive dance performed by Maddie and Shia (love him unashamedly especially for THIS VIDEO) LaBeouf is representative of the strained relationship she had with her father growing up. Watching it with that in mind I'd like to purchase two tickets to Feelidelphia please!

Her lyrics are haunting and her vision is light years ahead of any bubblegum pop on the scene right now.

Listen & love it, I know I do!

Cherry Pick of the Week: Mark Ronson ft Bruno Mars ~ Uptown Funk

Could Bruno Mars BE any funkier?

Has there ever BEEN a funkier song?

Will I ever be able to take Uptown Funk off repeat?

So many questions - tell me you're not addicted too?!

Cherry Pick Of The Week: Calvin Harris ft Ellie Goulding - Outside

It's been far too long since Mzzz Goulding was on our airwaves, digital or otherwise.

Loving this from both of 'em!

Cherry Pick of the Week: Taylor Swift ~ Welcome To New York

We've been through this before. My love for Pop princess, Taylor Swift knows neither bounds nor shame. Her music is addictive fluff and the first releases from her upcoming album 1989 are no different.

Welcome To New York has that electro feel that hooked me on the Drive soundtrack paired with happy pop catchiness - what's not to love?

With Swifty pulling her tunes from Spotify last week and 1989 subsequently becoming the fastest selling album of the past 12 years, I'm obviously not the only one that has considered buying a real life CD for the first time in a very long time. Well played, T-Dog, well played!

What's been on repeat in your noggin this week then?

Cherry Pick Of The Week: Sam Smith ~ I'm Not The Only One

We're taking it back to the roots of the Cherry Pick of the Week this week as this track from Sam Smith WILL NOT GET OUT OF MY NOGGIN!

Swoonworthy hair & makeup on Dianna aside, the vid's a dud but I defy you to press play and not be humming this in half an hour.

Well played, Mr Smith, well played!

Tell us, what's on repeat in your noggin this week?

Cherry Pick of the Week: George Ezra - Blame It on Me

You'll know by now that this little corner of the interweb is all about the positive vibes, about finding one thing in your day to feel good about and the domino effect to happiness that can achieve.

With that in mind, George here, one of the most soulful dudes in the industry for a long while fits right in around here. His voice is completely unique and his outlook on life, a breath of fresh air.

Hit play & ask yourself - What ARE you waiting for?

Cherry Pick of the Week: Will Champlin - Heat of Passion

We haven't had a stand out tune in quite a while have we? Well Will Champlin is about to change all of that with this stomper.

Heat of Passion is, unfortunately, the most exciting thing about HBO's Fall preview but you know what? That's absolutely fine. I've already added his album, Borrowing Trouble, to my Spotify playlist and even after just one listen, I'd urge you to do the same.

Thanks HBO, thanks very kindly.

Cherry Pick of the Week: DNYCE - Daddy's Girl

This week's Pick is exactly what these posts are all about: a tune that gets stuck in your noggin instantly and won't leave.

Daddy's Girl was filmed in the Virgin Islands when this lucky lass was serenaded by her barber with his little girl on the backing track.

'Feel good' music doesn't even come close. I'm just surprised Ellen hasn't booked them yet. Expect huge things from this daddy daughter duo!

Cherry Pick of the Week: Sinéad O' Connor - Take Me To Church

For days now I've been certain that The Awesome Mix from Guardians of the Galaxy would be my bumper Pick of the Week with its feel good vibes and shoulder dancing tunes -

then Sinéad released this.

Take Me To Church is EXACTLY what a rousing love song should be.

Brazen, uplifting and full of joy, this is a love song to herself that every one of us can take something from.

Her anthemic chorus calls out the abusive echelons of the Catholic church and I couldn't love her more for it.

Hit play there and fall in love with Sinéad and yourself all over again.

Christ, she's cool.

P.S. Keep an eye out
for Sinéad's album cover
& press shots - her flawless
makeup was created by good
beauty pal Leonard Daly!

Cherry Pick of the Week: John Legend - All of Me

I've a serious grá for song smith John Legend and his new single, All of Me

won't be changing that.

At the risk of sounding like my Pappito - this is how love songs should sound.

Ah, John, ye soulful Legend.

Cherry Pick of the Week: Jessica Ware - Tough Love

Oh Jessie, let me count the ways I love thee - that or let me watch your gorgeous video, listen to your haunting voice and watch the calendar until you release your album.

Tough Love is right!

Cherry Pick of the Week: Ed Sheeran - Sing

Cannot get this tune out of my noggin this week!

Blatant product placement aside in the vid, Eddie has never looked better!

What's been playing on repeat for you?

Cherry Pick of the Week: Ella Henderson - Ghost

Arguably the strongest talent the X-Factor has ever uncovered, Ella Henderson has finally released her debut single, Ghost.

More uptempo than was expected for the soulful eighteen year old, it still manages to showcase her incredible vocal talent.

Here's to hearing Ella take over our radio waves a short TWO YEARS after she dropped this outstanding audition on us.

Are you an Ella fan? Something else catching your ear this week?

Cherry Pick of the Week - Iggy Azalea - Black Widow feat. Rita Ora

While sitting in Wales amidst a sea of laptops and male Jordans, I was setting up this Iggy number as my Cherry Pick of the Week - the reaction was uniform from the mens 'That's such a woman's song'. If anything, that confirmed my love for it.

In yo' hairy faces, bishes!

The newest offering from Mzz Azalea features Mzz Ora and one of the catchiest beats

you'll hear this summer. Black Widow, Baby!

Cherry Pick of the Week: OK Go - The Writing's On the Wall

They're back.

OK Go, the alternative rock, catchy choon, mind bending video makers are back with The Writing's On the Wall.

Their vid is great fun with optical illusions a go go but don't be fooled by the unassuming tune. It's a definite grower and sure to join the band's back catalogue of ear worm awesomeness.

What's been playing on repeat in your noggin this week then?

Cherry Pick of the Week: Kasabian - eez-eh

Yep, yep, yep & YEP!

What's been playing on repeat in your noggin this week?

Cherry Pick of the Week: Ellie Goulding - Beating Heart

Can Ellie do any wrong? In my mind, no, much like Taylor Swift in that I love her unashamedly. She has an ethereal quality to her voice that brings her tunes to life with ease.

Beating Heart is taken from the soundtrack of recent movie hit, Divergent, you can see Aaron's thoughts on that here.

What say we to Ellie?

Is there another choon that has been playing on repeat in your noggin this week?
