Bobbi Brown Remedies Skin Wrinkle Treatment No 25 ~ Cherry Pick of the Week!

While Bobbi Brown is not a brand I've featured heavily before, it's always been one that's been floating around my makeup drawers. Aside from Charlotte Tilbury's Bronze & Glow, Bobbi's Shimmer Brick is the only luxe highlighter I've ever parted with hard earned cash for. I got to meet the PR Gals this Summer and you better believe I was intrigued by Bobbi Brown Remedies collection. They're targeted solutions for any skin issues, this week's Pick of the Week is the one (of seven) I've been trialling for several weeks now, the new Skin Wrinkle Treatment, No 25.

I know a lot of you clever peeps will be well set for Mothering Sunday this week, - for those of you that aren't yet? You know it's Mother's Day this week, right? Should you be in possession of a Mother (Mother in Law/God Mother/Awesome Aunt) you might want to read on.

I've put together a couple of ideas, whatever your budget, to show your Mamito that you love her. Of course love doesn't cost a penny and she will, most probably tell you - 'Arragh, you shouldn't have!!' but she will be grateful and you will be the favourite child. True story.

We've spoken about or reviewed pretty much every product here before, so if you're unsure about an ingredient or different stockist just leave me a comment and we'll sort you and your Momma out. Rest your reading eyes and feast 'em upon your best buys for every budget:

Mothers Day Under €20 - Clinique Cheek pops - Laura Ashley Hand Cream - Avoca Candle - This Works Pillow Spray - Essie Encrusted Treasures

These are preeeety nice sweeteners too though, right?

Tell us, have you bought your Mother's Day Gift yet?

Are you a Momma yourself and looking forward to the day?

Katie Holmes Hotly Tipped as the First Face of Bobbi Brown

If industry sources are to be believed, the coming days will see Katie Holmes' star on the rise yet again. It's been rumoured, loudly, that she's to be the new (and first ever celebrity) face for Bobbi Brown cosmetics.

According the the New York Post, Katie hasn't come right out and announced the collaberation just yet, but a 'close source' had this to say, “Katie was in the office all day on Tuesday with Bobbi. She was walking around freely and wasn't being secretive at all. She was incredibly friendly to everyone she chatted with. Everyone thought she was very, very nice,".

Ms. Holmes is certainly set to be busy over the coming weeks with her own label with stylist Jeanne Yang, Holmes and Yang, set to present for the first time at New York Fashion Week. The luxury, designer label first debuted in 2009 and has been steadily growing since then.

Katie's personal style and make up look has always been fresh faced, effortlessly chic and natural, I can see why she would be the perfect representative for the Bobbi Brown brand but what do you think?

Is she a good choice?

Bobbi Brown Instant Long-Wear Makeup Remover

Ever since my discovery of They're Real (The Benefit mascara that the interwebs are, understandably losing their shizz over) last year I've been converted.

It applies like a dream and lasts and lasts and lasts and feckin' lasts! So much so that it is ESSENTIAL that you remove it every night. I'm going to be honest here and admit that I never removed my makeup properly pre -They're Real but now I don't have much choice.

They're Real on day 2 without removal. (Not really, they're fly legs(YOCK)) Source

Not all removers are capable of vanquishing this epic lash batter though, Estée Lauder puts up a good fight but Holy Moly it hasn't a patch on Bobbi Brown!

Bobbi Brown says: This extra gentle waterproof makeup remover effectively removes long-wearing and waterproof eye and lip makeup, while conditioning lashes. Bobbi Brown Instant Long-Wear Makeup Remover leaves eyes and lips clean and pleasantly refreshed. Safe for contact lens wearers. Dermatologist and Ophthalmologist tested.

It's a duo-phase (oil & water) remover, which mean you have to shake the bejesus of it before use and use it sparingly. Really do, I didn't on first attempt and ended up like a greasy panda. Attractive.

Used properly its a super gentle miracle worker, apparently it works on long wear lip stains too but I've yet to come across one of those that needed removal. Ever.

I got this as a pressie with a few other Bobbi Brown bits (that I'll show ye soon) from my very generous Sis but it's available from House of Fraser for £15 should you be so inclined. In yo' face, Benefit! Well, in mine really.
