Cherry Link Love for #BBloggers: Your Earliest Make Up Memory

Hi all, we're back following a quick hiatus last week and this time we've a little change to the set up to level the playing field for all. 

This week we're talking memories, specifically your earliest make up memory, it's always something I love to hear about from peeps that are as passionate about their products as I am. 

I'll kick off with mine, had to be when I was 12 or 13 and beginning to experiment with foundations until I discovered the Max Factor Pan Stick - what a glorious invention that was. I proceeded to cover my entire visage in this industrial strength goop until my Dad staged an intervention. 

Telling me that he couldn't hug me tightly with a face full of makeup... 

My Dad: blurring the lines between hugs and headlocks since time immemorial but you know what? It worked. I eased up on the slap and my skin thanked him for it, even if I never did...

Cherry Link Love for #BBloggers: Hair Care

First up, a slight apology as I spent the guts of the weekend with my head under the duvet trying to fend off the flu, Cherry Link Love never made it up on Saturday. 

On the bright side though, it's now found a slot on Monday afternoons that will not only get a lot more exposure but hopefully will attract a few more bloggers to join in.

Last weeks post was hugely successful in terms of stats with one day alone seeing 3,767 hits but more importantly connections were made and people found a platform to meet each other - at the end of the day that's what the blogging community should be all about, no? 

This weeks topic is one that I'm a little nutty about NAILS so if you have a post about nails, nail art, nail polish or anything of it's ilk link it on up below. I reckon the one (of hundreds) of mine that best fits the bill would be Handy Do's & Don'ts for Tip Top Talons.

Cherry Link Love: Getting to Know YOU!

Here we are, day one of what will hopefully be a very successful series for everyone. I mentioned in my most recent Monday's Moments that this little old blog has been consistently reaching and topping 45,000 views per month for the past few months and as a way to celebrate, to say thank you to everyone that drops by and to share some of the phenomenal stat love I'm launching this series today. 

The workings are very simple, I'll come up with a title Nails, Haircare etc and you link your favourite post that fits the bill. I will then backlink each post in the body of the post for that week. Easy, right? 

Hopefully we'll see a showcase of some of the best posts out there from new and older blogs and we'll all find not only great hints and tips but also some fab new people to follow. 

This week, as it's our first I thought we'd start with a 'Getting to Know You' link list. So whether it be a link directly to your 'About Me' section or to a post that you feel will tell us the most about you then get linking below. 

I'll start the proceedings with the post that I think says the most about me as a person  A Letter to 19 Year Old Me, it's heartfelt and personal and hopefully gives us a little insight into what makes me tick (as opposed to thick, natch).
