What's Your Holy Grail?

Okay so Daddy Jones isn't too forthcoming there but I'd love to know, do you have a Holy Grail product? Or even better, products?! I'm talking about something you've purchased and repurchased, something that's, quite literally, changed your life (If even it's just the life of your skin). Something you're so chuffed with that you want to twirl on mountain tops and sing about the hills being alive with the shine on your grúaig, or the like.

I'd especially like to know if there's something (s) that have impressed you so much that you've actually stopped bleating on about to all that will listen (and even those that won't) and have started buying as gifts for family and friends because you're so sure they NEED them in their lives too.

I'll start, k? I have an enormous grá for products (sez Captain Obvious) but the three that I've bought en masse and even bought for/foisted upon loved ones are OPI's Nail Envy Kiehl's Creme de Corps and La Roche Posay's Cicaplast Baume B5. These three are so mood alteringly impressive that I've had to share. Over and over.

So spill, lemme know, what's yours?

(by the way, I totally get the nerves
when I gift these babies on, like when I
recommend a movie or show & then watch
it with the person, the stress is immense.
Thankfully these have never failed to impress)

Burts Bees Lip Salve really moisturising, and I'm also liking their lip coloured/tinted lip salves for work, less drying than lipstick.

Ooh fab post Sue! For me, it has to be Bioderma Sensibio H20. I've turned everyone I know on to it, I've bought it as gifts for people, I've donated travel size versions in desperation to show them how good it actually is and will regularly wax lyrical to anyone who will listen. Even Mr G is aware of it's benefits :)

The boots own brand intensive hair mark in coconut and almond. I'm on my third tub and it's amazing. Does wonders for your hair and leaves it soo smooth.

Face cloths. The perfect exfoliator, its not too harsh, but its scrubby enough to get right in there are clean out pores, they hold the heat better than a muslin, and you can get 7 for less than €5 at good auld Penneys.

Avon's Liquid Bra Gel - makes your boobs look so much better! I've been using it for years and having big knockers I can do with any help I can get LOL

Also, Dermalogica's Special Cleansing Gel. It's the only face product that I've ever used that doesn't make my face feel tight after using it.

Cure Natural Aqua Gel! I first tried it a year and a half ago and I am still amazed every time I use at how well it exfoliates...GENTLY! No redness or irritation and my skin absorbs whatever magic potions I use after it so well. If you haven't tried it, please do. I think you'll love it as much as I do!

I just love Dark Angels cleanser by Lush, I'm on my second tub and it's definitely part of my routine now! Make up wise, I always find myself coming back to Maybelline Dream Satin Liquid - I've tried many, many foundations and I haven't been able to beat it so far.

Great post missus! Well, I think you'll know by my dragging you to the Emma Hardie counter in Arnotts every time we're in there that I'm in The Love with her foaming wash and moringa cleansing balm. So much so that I bought one last year for a giveaway on the blog.

I don't know how I managed without my Babyliss Big Hair either, love it long time :)

NYC Curling mascara. Just shy of E2, it doesn't sting my eyes, like every Loreal one i"ve tried did (and they were nearer to E20!), NYC gives a nice natural look! I hate the crispy eyelashes you get with some mascaras.

And dove shampoo and conditioner. The intensive repair one and the nourishing oils ones. I've been using them for months. Unheard of, for me.

Mine is the Mud Mask Soap bar I find in Boots (for £3). It cleared my cystice acne! Except for the smell, i cannot fault it!
