Cherry You Say? Sold!

I freely admit to being a marketers dream when it comes to certain things, Leopard print for example or anything shiny á lá a beady eyed magpie but one thing that draws me to a product, probably more than any of the rest is cherries. Any semblance of cherry in the name, colour or design and I'm sold. Unsurprisingly that's a lot to do with my name, CherrySue, it's not my given name but it goes some way to demonstrating my grá for these heart shaped cherry red fruits.

Allow me to show you one or two examples if you will, it's by no means my entire collection but is a glimpse at some of the products that I couldn't pass due to this affliction.

Clinique Chubby Stick in Chunky Cherry - €19
I knew as soon as I swatched this beauty that it would be mine, it's the perfect pop of cherry colour for lips and is rarely out of my mála.

Sally Hansen - Cherry, Cherry, Bang, Bang - €8.95
This magenta toned polish is a prime example of how cherry in the description gives me the want. Instead of cherry red on the nail, this jewel toned, super shiny lacquer is a plum pink is a real show stopper and allows me to say 'Oh this? It's Cherry, Cherry, Bang, Bang' each and every time I'm asked, which is a lot. (I never denied my crazy)

Batiste Fruity & Cheeky Cherry Dry Shampoo
While it's not a patch on the Gold Shimmer version of Batiste, Cherry has a light fruity scent and works a treat for building volume on roots or allowing you to freshen up your locks between washes.

FitFlop Hot Cherry Ballet Dué - €99.95

Finally, the newest release from FitFlop has me all a flutter, you read that right, a FitFlop has me excited. It could be my want for comfortable work shoes (I'm older than my years) or, the more likely explanation, it's the hot cherry red colour that's calling my name. Loudly.

As I said, that's just a glimpse at my worrying obsesh, of course there's jewellery, shoes, purses and key rings adorned with cherries in my ownership but we'd be here all day were I to list the lot.

Tell me this isn't just me, do you have a colour or recurring theme that you're inexplicably drawn to?
